Vision Statement
Cartwright School District is the gateway to success. In
partnership with parents and community, our high quality staff
and programs emphasize challenging academic experiences that
ensure student excellence in a safe and caring environment.
Mission Statement
The mission of the Cartwright School District is to maximize
every student’s learning while developing confident,
responsible citizens.
Goals
- To improve achievement of every student
- To ensure that
instruction and programs are of high quality and support
student learning.
- To engage in active partnership with our
families and our community.
- To increase leadership skills
and expand leadership capacity at all levels.
Guiding Principles
Guiding Principles define expected behaviors of the Governing
Board, administrators, teachers, support staff, student, and
parents in alignment with the vision, mission, beliefs and
policies of the Cartwright School District.
- District and school decisions will be made in the best
interest of students.
- District and school decisions will be
made with participation and input from individuals closest
to the work who hold the greatest expertise and responsibility
for the decision.
- Decisions at all levels will be informed
and guided by data, research, and best practice.
- District
and school resources (human, fiscal, and material) will be
used to achieve strategic goals and objectives.
- Open and respectful
communication will be practiced at all levels.
