The Administrative Services Department serves as a liaison between the Superintendent’s Office and the district schools.  The Assistant Superintendent for Administrative Services oversees the supervision of school administrators. This department works collaboratively with all district administrators in providing recommendations to the Superintendent for continuous improvement of the district, particularly in the area of school leadership. 

Business Services is responsible for the preparation of the annual review and expenditure budgets, annual financial reports and acts as audit liaison and accounting of the School Facilities Board Fund.  This department oversees the following areas:

Our mission is to provide a safe and comfortable learning environment for the students and employees of the Cartwright School District #83. The responsibilites of Building and Operations include maintenance of existing structures and coordination of all new construction and remodeling.

The Financial Services Department manages the fiscal and plant operations of the District, directly overseeing Business Services, Buildings & Operations, Information Technology, Insurance, Food Services, Transportation, and Safety & Risk Management, as well as provides leadership districtwide regarding financial matters and general business operations.

Cartwright School District's meal programs are federally assisted programs that provide nutritionally balanced meals to students each day. National School Lunch and Breakfast Programs, After School Care Snack Program and Food Distribution Programs are operated during the school year and Summer Food Service Programs are offered during summer breaks.

The Educational Technology department of the Cartwright School district installs and maintains the computer systems and networking for all school sites and the District Office.

The mission of the Cartwright Risk Management Department is to promote and maintain a safe and healthful environment for the district by developing and providing quality risk management programs and services. Focus is on protecting human health and the environment, ensuring regulatory compliance, and protecting district interests and assets.

The mission of the Cartwright Transportation Department, through innovation an dedication, in partnership with students, staff and community, is to provide safe, courteous, and efficient transportation for our students, enabling them to achieve their highest educational and personal potential.
